The Crux
At McKesson ideaShare, independent pharmacy owners gather to sharpen their skills, grow their businesses, and learn from industry leaders. For B. Braun’s Enterprise sales team, the stakes were high—but the window to make an impact was small.

Presentations were capped at 20 minutes. Booth traffic was fast and unpredictable. Sales needed a high-impact tool to stand out, spark conversation, and stick in attendees’ minds long after they walked away.

Playing to Win in Vegas


The Strategy
With the conference set in Las Vegas, a custom deck of playing cards turned complex sales conversations into quick, memorable moments.

Each card in the deck tied a hot-button challenge to a B. Braun solution. When attendees pulled a matching issue and solution card, they held a blackjack hand (winning both the metaphor and the message).

Lightweight, engaging, and easy to distribute, the cards gave reps a way to simplify the pitch, connect instantly, and keep the conversation going—without relying on traditional print collateral or lengthy presentations.

The deck drove booth traffic, opened the door to more conversations, and gave people a simple way to connect real-world challenges with practical solutions. It was a creative approach that left a lasting impression without relying on traditional sales materials or long pitches.
